Cooking for a family can be expensive and it can also be tricky to know how to use up all the fruit and veg in a creative way.

We’ve put together this Slimming World meal plan to use up some leftovers you might have from the previous week, or recipes that use up some ingredients which most people have hanging around in their fridges!
Budget Week 1– 7 Day Slimming World Meal Plan
So here’s our Budget Week 1 – 7 Day Slimming World Meal Plan for the week, there’s also a meal plan right at the bottom that will make a shopping list for you too.

Just remember that the idea of this meal plan is to use up fridge odds and sods, and food from previous meals so you might not need a full shopping list for this!
Start the day right with this Low Syn Sausage Hash! If you’ve got any sausages or potatoes left over from the Sunday roast, this is a great way to use them up!
Add some left over veg, if you have any, for hidden Speed Food! This makes a great brunch. It can even be made in advance and heated up later.
It would work work with any meat, or even ham if you’ve got some in the fridge!
This Syn Free Turkey Ratatouille Pasta Bake is a great way of feeding the whole family with thrifty left overs.
Pack it full of left over turkey (or any roasted meat!) and vegetables from the fridge that need using up and you’ve got a hearty meal!
Who doesn’t like cake for breakfast?! These Low Syn Banana and Peanut Muffins are the perfect way to use up those over-ripe bananas and also make a great snack!
Syn Free Turkey Ratatouille Pasta Bake makes a great lunch and heats up really well in the microwave!
You can put whatever veg you like into this Syn Free Campfire Stew. It makes a really filling, budget meal as a little meat will go a long way!
Serve it with these Syn Free Rustic Potato Wedges for a hearty meal!
If you’ve over-cooked on the broccoli to go with your dinner the night or two before, then why not use it up in these Syn Free Broccoli and Sweetcorn Fritters?
If you’ve got a load of odds and ends in the fridge, these Low Syn Pizza Boats are great for using them up!
You can use whatever you like – peppers, rocket, olives, mushrooms, ham! Yummmm! They also make a great snack either warm of cold!
This Syn Free Beef Ragu Fettucine is a quick and delicious dinner! You can use up any left over roasted meat in it that you have too, or vegetables and makes a really hearty dinner.
If you don’t want to serve it with pasta, this would also be great with any rice or potatoes you have left over (reheated thoroughly of course!)
Strawberries often need eating pretty quickly as they don’t last too long in the fridge. More often than not there’s a few left in the punnet that haven’t been eaten, and these Summer Strawberry Oat Muffins are perfect for using them up!
Served with some yoghurt, these make a tasty breakfast – and there’ll be enough to snack on during the week too!
Don’t be fooled by this Syn Free Summer Veg Spaghetti – you can use any green vegetables you’ve got knocking around, even cooked left overs!
Quiches are great for a quick and Syn Free dinner – especially when served with a crispy jacket potato. This Syn Free Spiralized Quiche is also a fab way of using up any eggs, veg, cold meats or cheese that you’ve got knocking about!
You could even use some smoked salmon in it!
These Syn Free Sweet Potato and Carrot Rostis feel like a proper treat, even though they’re packed with speed food! You can make them with left over carrot, mashed potato, onions or even courgette – just replace some of the carrot or sweet potato when following the recipe!
It’s really easy to over cook mash and veg to go with an evening meal – this Syn Free Bacon, Spring Onion and Kale Hash makes a tasty lunch, without having to cook any veg or potatoes!
You can use whatever veg or meat you have left!
This Syn Free French Toast is the perfect breakfast for using up bread that’s past it’s best!
Serve with banana or any fruit – take your pick from our Speed Food list!
Syn Free Campfire Stew makes for great left overs! If there isn’t much meat left, bulk it out with some extra vegetables!
This Syn Free Chicken Chow Mein is such a great Fakeaway for a Budget Week 1 – 7 Day Slimming World Meal Plan. You can use whatever meat and veg you’ve got lurking!
There is no better combo than these 1 Syn Potato, Cheese and Onion Waffles! Another great recipe for using up left over potato – or perhaps just cook extra especially to make them!
These would also make a great lunch too!
Syn Free Spiralized Quiche makes a fab hot or cold lunch, and with this Budget Week 1 – 7 Day Slimming World Meal Plan, you’ll have some from earlier in the week! Great for a lunch on the go.
