Can you use unsweetened almond milk in place of the skim milk? Also is this unbleached all purpose flour or Self rising? Thank you

Hi Karen. All purpose flour is another name for plain flour, so that is the one you need. We’ve not tried this recipe with almond milk, but I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work.

Will they work in a silicone mini muffin tray?

Reply

    KateWednesday 3rd May 2017

    Hi Nicola
They should be ok in a silicone mould. We prefer to use a tin tray for Yorkshires but I know a lot of people use silicone ones quite successfully

Can you freeze them?

Reply

    KateSunday 26th February 2017

    Hi Sandra
Yes you can, as long as they are quite crisp when they come out of the oven. If not they won’t hold their shape very well. We always keep batch in the freezer and they only take a couple of minutes to heat up
