Always wanted to try these and finally getting around it. Can I use Greek yogurt instead of quark? Thankyou 🙂

Reply

    Holly LevellTuesday 12th May 2020

Hi Becky, it’s best to use quark as it has a thicker texture than Greek yogurt so when mixed with the cream cheese makes a more solid filling for the strawberries.

How long would these keep in the fridge?

Reply

    KateFriday 7th July 2017

    Hi Zoe
I find they only keep for a day or so in the fridge as the strawberries start to go a little soft

I made these and the mixture didn’t thicken. I followed the recipe apart from having to use icing sugar and I didn’t put vanilla extract in. So ended up having to dip the strawberries in the mixture which still tasted amazing but where did I go wrong??

    KateWednesday 17th May 2017

    Hi Lora
It may be the consistency of the quark you were using, we’ve noticed some brands are a bit runnier than others

is there any alternative i can use for the icing?

I made these little beauties tonight for after dinner. Went down well with the family so will be definitely making these again. I blitzed my sukrin sugar and made my own icing sugar which worked out great.

Yummy! Thank you. Could be adapted for other fruits. What about the hole where the stone went in a nice ripe peach or nectarine?

Thank you for this. I just dolloped the mixture on top of my strawberries as they were not firm enough to fill centre. Absolute delight to have a break from muller lights…..

    KateFriday 22nd April 2016

Glad you enjoyed it. We get a bit bored of muller lights sometimes too so the cheesecake mixture is a great alternative

    Reply

Suzanne LesleyTuesday 19th April 2016

Looks all natural as well as delicious, because Natvia is made from Stevia. I don’t like Muller Lights because they contain artificial sweetener.
