I made the chocolate orange baked oats and I grated the rind of an orange into the mix..
I didn’t have a Choc Shot so I used a heaped teaspoon of icing sugar mixed with a squeeze of the orange juice and drizzled it on top.. delicious

When do you add the first tsp of choc orange shot – remaining drizzle over once cook. It is not mentioned other than don’t add when you combine in all the ingredients??? I have all three books but have only checked the new one and recipe not in there!

Hi Gwenda, all the ingredients are added in step 1 but you need to reserve 1tsp of the choc orange choc shot this is then drizzled over the baked oats in step 3, so 1 tsp in the oats and 1 tsp drizzled on the oats. Hope that helps!

I’ve split the mixture into ramekins for a small portion for breakfast. If I cook all of them now will they last in the fridge? Or freeze and then reheat? I’ve got four out of this mixture. Thanks

Hi Michelle, You can cook them and keep in the fridge for approximately 3 days so if you’d like them to last longer it’s probably best to freeze them hope that helps!

I’m dairy free, could I use a dairy free yogurt as an alternative to a Muller light?

Hi Holly, thanks for getting in touch with us, although we have not tried this ourselves it should be ok with a dairy free yogurt. Please let us know how it goes.

Have just made this – amazing! I only had the orange mullerlight yoghurt, plain not orange chocshot and no real oranges for zest but it didn’t matter. It was delicious – I’m struggling not to eat the other half straight away!

Hi, could you use the orange sprinkled with dark chocolate mullerlight yoghurt for this?

Reply

    Lyn FWednesday 8th June 2022

Yes, I always use a Mullerlight orange with chocolate sprinkles yoghurt instead of the vanilla. Try making a toffee apple baked oats by using a mullerlight toffee apple yoghurt and adding 50g of chopped apple….its delicious.

Just made these for the first time. I didn’t have orange choc shot so I just used the normal one and a orange muller light with dark chocolate! It’s a welcome change! Yummy

How can you drizzle powder? Or should it be mixed with hot water?

I know that sounds like a dull question but I can’t open the video.

If you were to freeze this, how would you recommend reheating? Would microwave be ok? If so how long for? Thanks x

Reply

    KateWednesday 17th May 2017

    Hi Cat
Yes microwaving is fine for reheating. The time would depend on the power of your microwave, an 800w would probably take a minute or so. Just make sure it’s hot all the way through before serving
