This recipe uses chocolate extract, which you can find on Amazon.

It also uses granulated sweetener that has the same weight and sweetness as sugar. This means you can easily substitute it for the real stuff if you prefer!
There are lots of high quality granulated sweeteners available from the supermarket, such as Canderel Sugarly, and Natvia.

This Chocolate Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries is perfect if you’re following a calorie controlled diet and fits well with any one of the major diet plans such as Weight Watchers.

As a guide, an average man needs around 2,500kcal (10,500kJ) a day to maintain a healthy body weight. For an average woman, that figure is around 2,000kcal (8,400kJ) a day. Step 1

Remove the tops of the strawberries.

Step 2

Using a small sharp knife, cut out a cone shape from inside the middle of each strawberry – you want a small hole in the middle.

Step 3

Mix together the Quark, cream cheese, granulated sweetener, cocoa powder and chocolate extract and beat until smooth.

Step 4

Fill a small freezer bag with the cream cheese mixture. Make sure you get all the mixture in one corner.

Step 5

Seal the bag and cut the corner. The hole should be quite small so you can pipe inside the strawberries.

Step 6

Squeeze filling into each strawberry and sprinkle with digestive crumbs.

Step 7

Keep them in the fridge until ready to serve.

I can’t get hold of quark in Dubai ???? Do you think the strained Greek yogurt would work?
Thanks in advance

Hi could you do this recipe without the icing mix ?

Reply

    KayWednesday 20th April 2016

    Hey Jenny,

You can try with regular sweeter – just take sure to really mix it well as it may stay a bit grainy.

    Hope that helps!
