Hi. Could you use chicken stock instead of beef, would it change the flavour too much?

Reply

    KateTuesday 23rd May 2017

    Hi Loz
Yes, you could use chicken stock instead. It shouldn’t affect the flavour too much, but it may not be quite as rich

Excellent recipe very tasty but next time I will only use 1/2 teaspoon black pepper as a whole teaspoon made it over peppery & too hot. Otherwise lovely x

    Hi Jackie
Glad you liked it. The amount of pepper is a personal choice I think, which is why we state 1/2 to 1 tsp in the recipe.
