We like to use Choc Pot and Choc Shot by a company called Sweet Freedom. They’re a chocolate spread and sauce which are lower in calories and taste really goooood!

Both are available in most supermarkets – you’ll find the Choc Shot in the hot chocolate aisle as it makes a really amazing hot choc!

If you wanted to, you could also blitz up some normal porridge oats using a food processor and use in the same way we’ve used the Ready Brek – it’s totally up to you!

Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

Yummy and very easy to make😋
I used a waffle machine to achieve light and fluffy pancakes, the recipe was really easy to put together and my son loved them. We added syrup instead of chocolate.
My taste buds were tingling what a delicious start to a day
I didn’t have strawberries in so I substituted them with tinned madarin oranges and the chocolate and orange combination was delicious and refreshing..

Do you make the ready brek up to use it, or is it just the powder? Thanks

Reply

    SharonThursday 28th May 2020

Hi Ellie, you use the Ready Brek as dry powder. In step 1, you mix it with the eggs, milk, vanilla and sweetener.

Hi, this recipe states that on WW purple it is 1sp, but for 40g of ready brek on WW purple (searching on the WW app) it’s 4sp, which would make the recipe 5sp? Please can this be clarified?
