These Banana and Chocolate Pancakes are a super indulgent breakfast that’s perfect if you’re counting calories or following a plan like Weight Watchers.

We absolutely adore pancakes and these slimming friendly ones are ready in no time at all. This recipe makes a stack of 4 pancakes or you could even make mini pancakes and served them as a super stack!

Our Banana and Chocolate Pancakes are a fantastic breakfast dish, but they’re also great when served for pudding after a main meal. Not a fan of bananas? You can top these pancakes with pretty much any fruit you like – just remember to adjust the calories and Points accordingly!

You can buy all of the ingredients for these pancakes in most supermarkets.

We like to use Choc Pot and Choc Shot by a company called Sweet Freedom. They’re a chocolate spread and sauce which are lower in calories and taste really goooood!

Both are available in most supermarkets – you’ll find the Choc Shot in the hot chocolate aisle as it makes a really amazing hot choc!

You could use whichever chocolate sauce or spread you like, just remember to adjust the nutritional values accordingly.

If you wanted to, you could also blitz up some normal porridge oats using a food processor and use in the same way we’ve used the Ready Brek – it’s totally up to you!

Pour in small amounts of the mix to make 2 pancakes. Allow to cook through until brown underneath, then turn and cook for a few more minutes.

Repeat until all the mix is used (you should get 4 pancakes from the mix).

Place one pancake on a plate, spread it with some of the chocolate spread, then a layer of sliced banana.

Repeat until you have stacked all the pancakes and banana, making sure the top has a thin layer of chocolate spread and a few banana slices. Top with a strawberry then drizzle with the chocolate shot.

How do you know when Banana and Chocolate Pancakes is cooked?

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large banana sliced

  • 1 strawberry for garnishing
