We use Chocolate Orange Choc Shot to give this recipe a chocolate hit! It’s a sort of chocolate syrup that is low in calories, and you can do all sorts of things with it – even make it into a tasty hot chocolate! There are loads of different flavoured Choc Shots and they’re made by a company called Sweet Freedom.

You can pick some up in any large supermarket, normally down the hot chocolate aisle.

How many calories are in these Chocolate Orange Baked Oats?

This recipe needs to be cooked in the oven as per the method below.

How do you know when Chocolate Orange Baked Oats are cooked?

You should cook these baked oats until they are golden in colour and have a slight wobble in the middle, but cooked through.

This should take approx 35-40 minutes in the oven.

Standard advice here in the UK is to cook food until it has reached 70°C and stayed at that temperature for 2 minutes. This is to keep your family safe.

  • 40 g Oats
  • 1 Vanilla Muller Light Yogurt
  • 3/4 tbsp Granulated Sweetener
  • 2 Eggs you can use 1 egg if you prefer a slightly drier texture
  • 2 tsp Choc Orange Choc Shot
  • 1 Orange zest only
