Toffee Sauce

Ingredients

  • 80 g sugar free creamy chewy toffees
  • 60 ml light single cream alternative

Instructions

  1. Put the toffees in a small saucepan with the light single cream alternative. Place over the lowest heat and heat gently, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes or until the toffees have just melted. Don't simmer or boil but heat slowly and gently.

  2. Remove from the heat and stir to make sure all the toffee has completely melted. Serve warm or pour into a small container, and leave to cool for 10 minutes, before placing in the fridge to chill for a minimum of 30 minutes. Chilling will make the sauce slightly thicker. Serve with a dessert of your choice.
