Easy Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken thighs skin removed
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic sliced thinly
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbs medium curry powder
  • 500 ml water

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat off from either side of the chicken thigh bones and place the meat and bone into a large saucepan
  2. Add the onion, garlic and spices and mix well to coat. Add the water and stir
  3. Cook on a medium heat with a lid on, stirring occasionally for 1 hour
  4. Remove the lid after the time and let the sauce reduce and thicken for the last 30 minutes
  5. Serve with rice and your choice of garnish (suggestions above!)
