French Toast

Ingredients

  • 4 medium eggs
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp granulated sweetener
  • low-calorie cooking spray
  • 4 slices wholemeal bread (approx. 148g)

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Mix in the cinnamon and granulated sweetener, until the sweetener has dissolved and cinnamon combined.

  2. Spray a large frying pan with low-calorie cooking spray and set on a low heat.

  3. Place a slice of bread into the egg mixture. Flip it over, then press down gently to fully coat the bread.

  4. Place in the pan and fry for 2 minutes. Flip over and cook for a further 2 minutes.

  5. Repeat for the other slices of bread. Then serve warm with your choice of fruit, yoghurt, and syrup!
