Creamy Garlic Sprouts

  • 300 g fresh Brussel sprouts, ends trimmed and halved
  • 40 g low fat cream cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • 10 g Parmesan or Italian hard cheese, finely grated
  • 1 tsp Henderson's relish or Worcestershire sauce
  • low calorie cooking spray
  • salt and black pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  2. Place the sprouts and garlic in a roasting dish. Spray with low calorie cooking spray and toss to coat well. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the sprouts in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until tender with lightly crisped outer leaves.

  4. Remove from the oven and stir through the Henderson's Relish and the cream cheese. Sprinkle the Parmesan over the top and place back in the oven for a further 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted.

  5. Serve with a main of your choice.
