French Toast

Ingredients

  • 120 g wholemeal bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • tbsp granulated sweetener
  • low calorie cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Mix in the cinnamon and granulated sweetener until the mixture turns a caramel brown.

  2. Place a large frying pan on a low heat and spray with low calorie cooking spray. Place a slice of bread into the egg mixture, flip it over, press down gently and then place in the frying pan. Do this for the remaining slices of bread. Fry until golden on one side (takes around 2 minutes) and then turn and do the same for the other side.

  3. Serve warm with your choice of fruit, fromage frais and syrup!
