Ingredients

  • 1 medium carrot peeled and diced into small pieces
  • 1/2 onion diced into small pieces
  • 1 medium potato peeled and diced
  • 2 stock pots chicken or beef depending on your choice of meat
  • 4 drops gravy browning add more or less to taste
  • 600 ml water

Instructions

  1. Place the carrot, onion and potato in a pan and add the water. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 25 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked. The water should reduce quite a bit

  2. Add the stock pots and gravy browning to the pan. Allow the stock to dissolve, then blitz using a hand blender
  3. Serve as part of a balanced meal!
