BLT Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 500 g cooked pasta any dried pasta shapes are fine. We used fusilli
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes cut in half
  • 1 big handful lettuce ripped into large pieces. You can use any type, iceberg, romaine etc
  • 6 bacon medallions
  • 120 g quark
  • 70 g natural fat free yoghurt
  • ¼ - ½ tsp Schwartz Season All season to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • low calorie cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Remove all the fat from the bacon medallions and cut them into decent sized pieces.

  2. Cook them in a pan, with some low calorie cooking spray and the crushed garlic, until they are nice and brown. Then set aside.

  3. Mix the quark, yoghurt and Season All together in a large bowl, then season with some freshly ground black pepper.

  4. Add the bacon, tomatoes and pasta to the quark mix and stir well.

  5. Stir in the lettuce, check the seasoning and enjoy!
