Syrupy Cinnamon Figs with Greek Yoghurt

  • 8 fresh figs (approx 42g each) stalks removed and cut in half
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • tsp ground cinnamon
  • 200 g low fat Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • fresh mint sprigs to decorate


  1. Place the figs in a small saucepan with the maple syrup and cinnamon.

  2. Cover and place on a low heat for 4 - 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the figs are just tender and a syrupy sauce has formed.

  3. Stir the remaining 1tsp maple syrup into the yoghurt and serve with the figs.

  4. Decorate with a sprig of mint.
