Horseradish Sauce

  • 200 g low fat Greek yoghurt
  • 20 g horseradish root peeled and finely grated
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • pinch of mustard powder
  • pinch of white granulated sweetener
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Place the yoghurt, horseradish, lemon juice, mustard powder and sweetener in a small bowl.

  2. Mix until combined, then season to taste with salt and pepper.

  3. Place in a small serving bowl. You can chill the horseradish sauce for about 30 minutes if you prefer, it will give a slightly firmer consistency, but this is not essential and it can be served straight away.
