Mince Pie Cheese Toastie

Ingredients

  • 2 small slices of wholemeal bread
  • 40 g reduced fat mature Cheddar cheese finely grated
  • 1 tbsp mincemeat (the sweet kind for mince pies)
  • low calorie cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 220°c.

  2. Line a baking tray with foil and spritz with low calorie cooking spray. Set aside.

  3. Spread the mincemeat onto one side of the bread and then sprinkle the cheese on top.

  4. Place the second piece of bread on top and press down. Spray the top with low calorie cooking spray.

  5. Place into the oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the bread is toasted.

  6. Slice and serve!
