We bet you've already got most of the ingredients for this hearty orzo dish tucked away in your store cupboard. We've stirred in a crowd-pleasing mix of Italian-inspired staples, such as tomato, basil, garlic and tangy Parmesan. By seasoning the chicken thighs and frying them on all sides before slow-cooking, you'll lock in loads of flavour and keep them beautifully tender. Best of all, there's no pile of washing-up to tackle after dinner – it's all ready in one pan and one pot!

Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

If freezing, cool as quickly as possible, divide into individual portions and freeze in airtight containers. WHen ready to cook, defrost thoroughly in fridge, then reheat in the microwave until piping hot throughout.

Use fine garlic granules, as these will stick better to the chicken than larger granules.

NEW TIP
Easy peasy to make
This was so easy to do. Took 20 mins prep time and popped the slow cooker on a timer so it was ready when I got home.
