The inspiration for this easy-peasy, comforting dish comes from a local Turkish restaurant. The flavours in their chicken tava were so rich and warming, we made it our mission to recreate it – with a Pinch of Nom twist! You don’t need fancy ingredients to make this simple meal, just chicken, a few vegetables and trusty store-cupboard staples. Let them simmer until your kitchen smells too good to leave, and you’re ready to serve. To make it even cosier, we’ve given it a grilled cheese topping.

If you don't have a grill, preheat the oven to 220°C (fan 200°C/gas mark 7) and cook the dish for 15 minutes.
