These Low Syn KFC Zinger Burgers are JUST like the real thing, and so simple to make.
You can also change the spice mix to suit your taste – if you prefer some extra zing then add some extra chilli powder!
We like to serve these Low Syn KFC Zinger Burgers in a Schar Gluten Free White Ciabatta Roll – you can have one as your Healthy Extra B and they are sooooo good!

How many Syns are in these Low Syn KFC Zinger Burgers?
These Low Syn KFC Zinger Burgers are just 2 Syns each – that saves you over 20 Syns from the takeaway version!
We tend to use our Healthy Extra B for the bap part of these burgers. You can also use half of your Healthy Extra A with a Light Cheese Slice too.
We’ve used a dollop of lightest mayo and some lettuce to finish off these Low Syn KFC Zinger Burgers!
How do I make these Low Syn KFC Zinger Burgers?
Preheat the oven to 160°C and spray a baking tray with Frylight.
Place the Doritos and spices into a food bag and smash until they are nearly all in a fine crumb, but some larger pieces remain.
Ensure the chicken breasts are dry. Dust lightly with the cornflour. Break the egg into a dish and dip each chicken breast into it.
Put the chicken breasts onto the baking tray and sprinkle over the spice and dorito mix, ensuring both sides of the chicken is coated thoroughly. Spray liberally with Frylight and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, turn the chicken and spray with Frylight again. Bake for a further 15 minutes until the chicken is completely cooked through and golden.
Serve with your choice of garnish!
