  1. could you use quark instead of Philadelphia?

Also as a little tip when using Philadelphia or even quark adding a little mustard (1/2 Syn for 1 level tsp or mustard powder is free) really does make cheese even quark taste a little cheesier!!!! Don’t ask me how it works but it really does!!!!

    1. Hi Amanda
The Philadelphia works really well in this recipe, whereas quark has a tendency to split as it’s less stable. Thanks for the tip with the mustard. Just remember that mustard powder is free, but ready-made mustard has a syn value. 🙂

    1. Hi Chamila
Yes, you can indeed! Just worth noting that whilst peas are free and a Protein food, sweetcorn is free, not a ‘P’ choice. 🙂

  2. Is there a version that has uncooked chicken? Not to eat it uncooked but to cook the chicken as part of the recipe if that makes sense?

  3. I just made this with uncooked chicken squares and it came up lovely. Just keep an eye on turning the cubes so they cook through properly. Lovely dish! Made it with other herbs added too and was very tasty

  4. My go to recipe with leftover roast chicken. Quick , simple and for me things I always have in my store cupboard and fridge. Delicious.

    1. Hi Tanya
We haven’t given this recipe a freezer symbol on the recipe card as we haven’t tried freezing it ourselves. Let us know if you try freezing it. 🙂
      Thanks for getting in touch!

    1. Hi Louise,
We haven’t tried it with Primula, but I don’t see why not! You would probably need the same amount as the light Philadelphia in the recipe. Let us know how you get on if you do try it. 🙂
