You might have noticed that things are looking a little different around here!
We’ve been working on the new Pinch of Nom website for a very long time, longer than any book we have released – and we are so excited that it is finally here!
As well as a new look, there are also lots of new features, a lot of which you have been asking about for a while!
We know it can be a bit daunting when presented with something new, so we’ve put together this handy guide to introduce you to the new website and to help you learn how to use all of the new features and quirks!
Our website is still very much free to use, there’s no cost involved with the new updates. Our aim has always been to create great-tasting slimming-friendly recipes for our followers, and we will continue to do that for as long as we can!
Your Pinch of Nom account
One of the most exciting new features on our website is the ability to create an account with us!
Not only can you save your favourite Pinch of Nom recipes to refer back to at a later date, you can also track your entire weight loss journey with our Weight Loss Tracker!
For each pound you lose in the tracker, you’ll be able to download an amazing certificate or badge detailing your weight loss achievement and a fun fact.
They are perfect for printing out and sticking on your fridge – or simply sharing on social media!
It’s really easy to gain access to all of the above, here are some helpful tips on what to expect:
How to create an account
First things first, you’ll need to create an account on our website. We’ve made this as easy as possible and it only takes a couple of minutes.

How to use the Weight Loss Tracker
We are so, so excited about our new Weight Loss Tracker! We know that setting a goal is often one of the most important motivators to getting where you want to be when starting a weight loss journey.
With our tracker, you can log your start weight, current weight and goal weight to see how far you’ve come. It’s never been easier to stay on track!

How to download your weight loss certificate
For every milestone you hit, you’ll be able to download a certificate or badge to share with your friends and family. The more weight you lose towards your goal, the more certificates you’ll earn!
On this certificate is your amazing weight loss achievement, as well as a fun fact about what this amount equates to as an animal or object.
We’ve already seen lots of people sharing their badges on social media and we LOVE seeing them so don’t forget to tag us!
You could also print them out to proudly display at home.
Your Pinch of Nom recipes
Our recipes have also had a makeover and we hope it’s now much easier for you to find all the information you need!
We know that people follow diets in different ways, so we’ve included as much nutritional information as possible for each dish. We’ve also added values for the new Weight Watchers plans.
There are a number of new and improved features on our recipe pages, here are just a few:
Adjustable servings
We know how frustrating it can be to discover a tasty looking recipe online, only to find it has been written for 4 or 6 people, when there are only 2 of you eating.
For this reason, you can now use the up and down arrows on our recipe cards to adjust the number of servings, and the ingredients will update accordingly.
No more having to use your phone as a calculator for your shopping list!
New and improved categories
As well as our standard meal categories, we’ve also grouped our recipes together depending on calorie counts.
You may recognise the categories from our first book! They are ’Everyday Light’, ‘Weekly Indulgence’ and ‘Special Occasion’.
These categories mean the following:
Everyday Light
These recipes can be enjoyed every day and all come in at under 400 calories.
Weekly Indulgence
We recommend making these recipes a couple of times a week. They are usually between 400-500 calories.
Special Occasion
We recommend saving these recipes for…you guessed it; special occasions! These recipes are 500+ calories.
How to save recipes
Another great new feature in your Pinch of Nom account is the ability to save your favourite recipes. No more bookmarks or having to keep several tabs open!
It’s really simple to save your favourite recipes to refer back to at a later date, see the full post here on how to do this.
How to use organise your saved recipes into folders
As well as saving recipes, you can also create folders to group your favourite dishes together.
Whether you want to use this for meal planning, prepping for an occasion or different cuisines, having folders is a great way to keep all of your recipes in one place!
