You’re going to LOVE this Cheesy Garlic Naan recipe! Golden brown and bursting with tear-and-share garlicky goodness, you can tuck into it as a savoury snack, or as a side next to a variety of main dishes. We’ve made our naan triangles far lighter by preparing the puffy naan dough with fat-free natural yoghurt, and creating our homemade melty garlic ‘butter’ with reduced-fat spread. Will you sprinkle yours with coriander or parsley?

Your new-favourite side dish for a fakeaway night-in has just arrived! Inspired by our Simple Naan Bread from pages 216-217 of Quick and Easy, we’ve whipped up a garlicky, cheesy naan using simple ingredients you’re likely to have at home already.

To keep our Cheesy Garlic Naan nice and light (you can tuck into 4 crispy, golden brown triangles for just 146 calories!), we’ve prepared a garlic ‘butter’ from scratch using reduced-fat spread, and added natural-fat free yoghurt to our dough mixture.

The results are just as puffy and cheesy as restaurant versions, but far better for you and your budget! The trick with this recipe is to know whether you’re sprinkling coriander or parsley on top at the end.

Coriander will make your naan the perfect accompaniment for Indian-style main dishes, while parsley will open it up to just about any cuisine (you could try it on an Italian-style fakeaway night, as an alternative to Cheesy Garlic Bread).
