Step 1
Peel the banana then cut it in half. Slice each half length ways so you have 4 equal pieces.
Step 2
Carefully insert a lolly ice stick into the cut end so it holds the banana securely.
Step 3
Dip each banana into the yoghurt then place them on a piece of baking parchment.
Step 4
Put them in the freezer until the yoghurt is frozen (this shouldn’t take too long).
Step 5
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in short 10 second bursts, checking after each 10 seconds. When they start to melt, stir until they are smooth.
Step 6
Make a small piping bag using a piece of greaseproof – fold a square of greaseproof into a triangle then into a cone shape then fill with the melted chocolate. Fold over the top and snip a tiny hole at the end.
Step 7
Pipe 2 eyes and a mouth on each frozen banana then pop them back in the freezer until you’re ready to eat them.

Did I do something wrong…all the quarters broke when i tried putting in a lollipop stick! Had to do half bananas and they definitely dont look too super ????????

Hi Maeve, so sorry to hear they didn’t go to plan. Make sure your bananas aren’t too ripe as they will fall apart when you push the lolly stick into them if they are too ripe and soft
