Trifle - Low Syn Raspberry Trifle | Slimming World

For the full list of ingredients and comprehensive instructions, please see the recipe card at the end of this post. Before you scroll, there’s important stuff in the blurb 👍

If you don’t fancy raspberries you could also try using a strawberry jelly and some fresh strawberries, or for something a bit different try a lime jelly with sliced banana. In fact you can use pretty much whatever fruit you want.

Don't forget:

The syn value of different brands of sugar free jelly can vary slightly but generally an 11.5g sachet is between 1.5-2 syns. Always check the app to be sure.

The syn value for aerosol cream also varies depending on brand, we use Anchor Real Dairy Aerosol Cream Light for 1 syn per 12.5g serving. Again, be sure to check the app for the exact syn value.

Syn values given are correct at time of writing but may not always be accurate.

  1. M sure I read somewhere that someone put some gelatine in the banana and custard yoghurts, am I mistaken? Can’t seem to find it now and wondered what quantities?

    1. Hi Gillian
We don’t use gelatine in ours, but you may have seen someone use a different recipe in our Facebook group. 🙂

    1. Hi Linda
There’s no reason why not. We chose squirty cream as it’s pretty low in Syns and gives a more authentic flavour to the trifle. Possibly a thicker Greek style fat free would work well. Remember to check Syns, as fat free doesn’t always mean syn free! 🙂
