This is the perfect slimming friendly soup as it’s packed with carrots, celery, onions and tinned chopped tomatoes – all those great vegetables to help with your weight loss.
It’s ideal for a quick lunch, and the ingredients can be found in any cupboard. If you’ve been following Weight Watchers or calorie counting for a while, you’ll know you always have a cupboard full of chopped tomatoes and a fridge packed with onions, celery, potatoes and carrots.
This recipe is the Thermomix version, but it will also work in a soup maker. However, if you don’t have either of these gadgets then it works just as well in a pan on the stove, and you can find that recipe here.

Cook on speed 1 at 100° for 20 minutes.
Step 6
When cooked, puree on speed 10 for 30 seconds and add seasoning if necessary.

How do you know when Speedy Tomato Soup – Thermomix Version is cooked?
