Syn Free Chilli | Slimming World

As you will probably know we already have a Syn Free Slow Cooker Chilli recipe, but we’ve had a few requests for a quicker method too. So here’s our regular stove top version of our Syn Free Chilli.

For the full list of ingredients and comprehensive instructions, please see the recipe card at the end of this post. Before you scroll, there’s important stuff in the blurb 👍

This is a great comfort food for those cold wintery days.

You can make this as mild or as hot as you like, just add a bit more or less chilli powder or you could always add some more fresh chillies.

This Syn Free Chilli  can be served with whatever you want. Rice, Syn Free Rustic Wedges, Jacket Potatoes, Hasselback Potatoes or a Baked Sweet Potato, like the one in our pictures.

Whenever we need to replace oil in cooking we use Frylight. Perfect for everyday frying and cooking, it delivers exactly one calorie per spray, which makes it Syn free! The Rapeseed or Olive Oil flavours are ideal for this Syn Free Chilli recipe.

Frylight Find Out More

The Olive Oil or Sunflower Frylight are perfect for this Syn Free Chilli. But if you feel a bit adventurous then you could try the Garlic or Chilli infused versions!

  2. I made this this morning but i used kidney beans in chilli sauce not realising I hadn’t bought the tin without!
Have I blown all my hard work on syns?
There’s enough for me for a couple of days and also to freeze some.
I’ll have it with 130g of Uncle Ben’s basmati rice and/or perhaps a bowl on its own. .
    Is that ok?
    Kate 😁

  3. Superb recipe, agree with the other review, add cumin & coriander for the extra con carne kick, love it with all the different veg

  4. Nice recipe but a little confusing. It has a Knorr stock pot and Franks Hot sauce in the ingredients but never mentions them in the method.

    1. Hi Claire
The stock pot was listed in step 8 of the recipe when you add the kidney beans. I’ve added the dash of hot sauce too!
      Thanks for getting in touch!
