Seafood is like marmite, you either love it or hate it. Personally, I adore it. It’s not always the cheapest thing to buy, but this recipe is so delish that it’s something I like to make this Syn Free Seafood Pasta for a special occasion meal.
I tend to buy frozen seafood for convenience sake. It is wise to soak and shellfish prior to cooking though to get rid of any sand or grit that might be lurking.
The quantities in this recipe are just a rough guide. Add more prawns, or less squid if there’s something you prefer or don’t like.
I love clams but you can also use mussels. It can be bulked out with more pasta and tomatoes if you’re feeding a whole family. I’ve found it makes a small amount of seafood go a long way, which is always good!
