This Char-Siu-Style Pork Tenderloin is succulent and rich with fakeaway flavour, thanks to a nifty homemade, sweet-yet-spicy marinade (trust us, it's worth waiting for the flavours to mingle!). We've added a few drops of food colouring to make our pork as red as takeaway versions, but there's nothing to stop you skipping this step – it'll taste just as delicous without! Once your tenderloin is cooked through with charred, smoky edges, it's ready to serve over egg noodles with colourful stir-fried vegetables and a light drizzle of hoisin sauce.

Hints & Tips

Below we added some of our communities most common hints and tips. We hope you find them useful.

NEW TIP
Very straightforward, tasty and popular with all the family
I served this with stir fry vegetables and noodles. I added the excess marinade to the vegetables as I was stir frying to add even more flavour. Delicious, we will definitely have this again!
NEW TIP
Quick, easy and better than a Chinese
The pork was put in the marinade for 6 hours, it certainly absorbed all the flavours. The pork was still very tender after cooking. This was much more nicer than from the Chinese
