These Chocolate and Orange Biscuits can be cut into any shape you like. We’ve used a 5cm Star Cutter like the one in this set from Amazon.
If you do decide to use a different cutter then remember that you may need to adjust the calories or Points etc depending on how many biscuits you get out of the mix!
You’ll also need some Orange Extract – it’s amazing stuff! It gives a really intense orangey flavour so you only need to use a tiny bit. You can pick some up from Amazon if you can’t find any in the supermarket.

I made these today taste good abit dry for me! Even though I followed the recipe exactly I used a mini gingerbread cutter as that’s all I had! And I only got 26 out of this recipe, maybe I should double up on ingredients next time?
HollyWednesday 20th January 2021
Hey Tess, it sounds like you may have overworked the dough which can make it a little tough once baked. Knead the dough until smooth then roll out ready to cut. Hope that helps!

Love these, rolled them out to the correct thickness and used a very small cutter but only got 24 out of the recipe not 42?? And mine don’t look half as thick as the ones in the recipe picture either so hope I didn’t do anything wrong…. taste nice though and I forgot to spray with frylight and they still taste good just a little softer lol

Hi Sarah, thanks for getting in touch with us. We used a 5cmm star cutter to make these which gave us 42 small biscuits. So glad you enjoyed them. Keep up the good work.

I have no idea what I did wrong with these but they texture is like a scone and not a biscuit I’m so sad hahaha! Are they meant to be crunchy on the inside too?
Holly LevellMonday 1st June 2020
Hi Courtney, these Chocolate Orange Biscuits should have a nice crunch on the outside but be soft and crumbly on the inside. Hope that helps!
Loz MasonTuesday 25th June 2019
Hi
Are these biscuits crunchy or a bit soft? I think I may have done something wrong.
Thanks so much
Emma TMonday 1st July 2019
Hi Loz,
They’re a bit of both! They should be crunchy on the outside and then have a soft, crumbliness to the middle ????
Sarah PateSunday 23rd June 2019
Hello, I’ve made these biscuits today. They taste good but are a little dry, any idea what I may have done wrong? Pretty sure I followed the recipe measurements.
Emma TMonday 1st July 2019
Hi Sarah,
You could try baking them for a little less time, or roll them out a tiny bit thicker ????
