Cheese and Ham Pastries

Whether you’re looking for a snack or a light lunch, these Cheese and Ham Pastries are a crunchy, cheesy treat. They’re so quick to make and just 178 calories each – far more slimming-friendly than a trip to the bakery!

We’ve used our favourite trick of swapping high-calorie pastry for a low-calorie tortilla wrap. Honestly, you need to try it! The tortilla gets all lovely and crispy in the oven, with that creamy filling all tucked up inside.

Serve with some Homemade Oven Chips on the side for a lunch that feels more indulgent than it really is.

Toffee Sauce

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ll be wanting to pour this Toffee Sauce over just about everything. From hot desserts to ice cream, there aren’t many sweet treats that can’t be made even sweeter with a drizzle of this sticky caramel sauce.

What makes this recipe even more tempting is the fact that you only need 2 ingredients to make it! That’s right – the secret to keeping this sauce so low in calories is the combination of sugar free creamy chewy toffees and a light single cream alternative. They melt together until you’ve got a seriously decadent (yet slimming-friendly) toffee sauce that tastes really special.

Lemon and Pepper Crusted Chicken

Who said you have to deep fry your food to get a lovely crunch? This Lemon and Pepper Crusted Chicken will be an instant classic in your house – it’s a recipe you can make time and time again, and serve with loads of different side dishes.

The chicken is marinated in lemon and black pepper-infused yoghurt which makes it really juicy as well as flavourful. A good coating of panko breadcrumbs is the key to that crispiness on the outside. Make sure you’ve got all your chicken covered and then pop them into the oven until they’re beautifully golden brown.

This salad is all about big flavours that work together to get your taste buds tingling. You can serve it hot or cold, so you have the option to make the halloumi fries in advance on days where you’re a little bit pushed for time.

At 443 calories per serving, this recipe may not be our lightest salad option, but it’s the perfect Weekly Indulgence to add into your meal plan.

Ginger and Orange Chicken Kebabs

We’ve had plenty of sunshine this June, so it only seemed right that we enjoyed some vibrant, summery meals too! These Ginger and Orange Chicken Kebabs are easy peasy to make, and super versatile. Try them served with salad, rice, chips or how about some roasted Mediterranean vegetables?

It’s well worth letting the chicken marinate overnight in our tangy mix of citrus juices, ginger and honey. Leave it to soak up all those flavours, ready to be cooked the next day. You can pop these kebabs in the oven or try the air fryer method that you can find here

BBQ Roast Chicken

What if we told you that you could have all that delicious BBQ flavour, without having to fire up the barbecue? Rain or shine, we’re always in the mood for this BBQ Roast Chicken.

It involves minimal fuss, just mixing up a marinade to smother all over the meat before it goes into the oven. The result? Tender, juicy chicken with a moreish, smoky flavour that you can serve in so many different ways.

Try dishing this one up as an alternative Sunday roast – don’t forget to add a spoonful of these Butternut Squash Roasties on the side!

Spicy Braised Beef Salad

Picture this; crunchy veggies and fluffy couscous served with the juiciest, spicy, melt-in-the-mouth chunks of beef. That’s exactly what you get from this Spicy Braised Beef Salad. The beef gets marinated in an aromatic mixture of fiery spices and then left to bubble away in the oven for 3 hours until it’s irresistibly tender.

The slaw-style salad is the perfect partner for the braised beef, adding a cooling, fresh flavour and the perfect crunch. For just 325 calories per serving, this is not your average salad!

Spiced Halloumi Burgers

It’s time to spice up burger night! These Spiced Halloumi Burgers prove that you don’t need meat to make a banging burger. Instead, coat slices of halloumi in our homemade marinade of honey and harissa, and leave them to soak up the flavours for at least 30 minutes.

These cook in no time! The halloumi only needs a couple of minutes in the pan to get lovely and caramelised on the outside. Once it’s cooked, it’s time to assemble; pile your cheesy burgers up in your bread roll with some salad leaves and a good dollop of the minty yoghurt sauce. Can you believe these are slimming-friendly?
