Curried Cauliflower Cheese

As if cauliflower cheese wasn’t already delicious enough, we’ve taken it to the next level by adding garlic and ginger into the cheesy sauce, alongside a spoonful of mild curry powder. The result is this Curried Cauliflower Cheese, and it’s unexpectedly versatile!

Delicious enough to eat on its own, a scoop of this on your Sunday roast goes a long way. It brings a mild spice to your plate, that you never knew your roast dinner was missing.

Far more slimming-friendly than shop-bought or restaurant versions of cauliflower cheese, our lighter recipe works out at only 279 calories per serving. Pop this on your menu for the weekend and tell us what you think over in our Facebook group!

Meatball Soup

Can’t choose between a warming bowl of soup or a plate of herby meatballs? Our Meatball Soup brings you the best of both – with homemade pork meatballs swimming in a rich, velvety tomato broth.

Inspired by the flavours of Meatball Marinara, this easy recipe is light enough for lunch (just 191 calories!) and filling enough to serve for dinner with a crusty bread roll on the side.

If you fancy batch-cooking a few extra portions for a rainy day, you’ll be glad to hear this one freezes like a dream. Plus, if you don’t eat pork, it’s no hassle to swap the meatballs for low-fat beef or chicken mince instead.

Lamb and Lentil Stew

When it comes to proper winter warmers, nothing does the job quite as well as a hearty home-cooked stew. This Lamb and Lentil Stew is no exception, made with wholesome ingredients and cooked until you’re left with a hug in a bowl!

The combination of tender lamb and protein-packed lentils gives this stew impressive filling power – so there’s no risk of you feeling hungry after finishing your bowlful. The rich gravy is infused with fragrant rosemary and thyme, for maximum flavour in every bite.

If that wasn’t already reason enough to pop this on next week’s meal plan, we’ve also given you a choice of methods to make this recipe. You can leave it to bubble away in the oven, cook it low all day in your slow cooker, or speed things up by simmering it in your Instant Pot

Autumn Berry Cobbler

We fully embraced the season when we added this cosy, comforting dessert to our website in November! Our Autumn Berry Cobbler is bursting with the best fruits that the autumn harvest has to offer – sharp, sweet apples and juicy blackberries.

Similar to a crumble, this slimming-friendly cobbler has an oaty topping that gets dotted on top and then baked to golden perfection. The trick is to leave gaps between each dollop of cobbler, so the syrupy fruit juices can bubble up into the spaces.

At 209 calories per serving, the hardest decision is whether you serve yours with our classic Custard recipe, or a scoop of low-calorie ice cream!

Cauliflower Cheese Fish Pie

We’ve had cauliflower cheese on the mind all month, so we put it to good use as the topping for this dreamy dinner of Cauliflower Cheese Fish Pie. Two ultimate favourites in one, we’ve skipped the mashed potato topping you’d usually find and added a layer of creamy, cheesy cauli instead.

It might sound unusual, but once you try it, you’ll be converted! As well as being seriously tasty, it makes the typically indulgent meal far more slimming friendly – each serving works out at just 307 calories.

Packed with flavour, hearty and filling, all you need is a spoonful of Garlic Green Beans on the side for an easy midweek meal the whole family will love.

Breakfast Burgers

Imagine eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomato stacked on top of a juicy homemade pork burger for breakfast! No matter what time you eat them, these Breakfast Burgers are always a good idea.

Perfect for a decadent weekend brekkie, our full English-inspired burgers are guaranteed to kick-start your day, and keep you going right through to lunchtime. Despite being fully loaded with toppings, they’re more slimming friendly than you might expect, with 475 calories in each one.

They’re even more delicious when you add a spoonful of our homemade Ketchup onto the burger bun too!

Chilli Bean Lasagne

This meat-free recipe is the kind of meal that vegetarians and non-veggies alike will gather around the table for. Instead of mince, the filling of our Chilli Bean Lasagne is made from nutritious chopped vegetables and protein-rich mixed beans.

To give the sauce a smoky tang, we’ve spooned in chipotle paste until it’s exactly as spicy as we like it. Feel free to use more or less until it’s right for you!

Layered up with our lighter cheese sauce, and topped with even more cheese, this dish is definitely worth adding to your meal plan the next time you need some good old fashioned comfort food.

Chicken Tikka Samosas

No week is complete without a fakeaway night, and these Chicken Tikka Samosas are even tastier than the ones you can get from the takeaway (even if we do say so ourselves). We’ve made a super speedy chicken tikka filling to stuff inside crispy filo pastry, then baked it until it has an irresistible crunch.

The flavourful little parcels are just what you need as a starter or side dish for a slimming-friendly curry, especially since they’re only 132 calories each.

These will go down a storm on a festive buffet table too! You could even make them ahead of time – they’ll freeze and reheat well to save time on the day.
