Try a Sunday dinner that’s a little bit different with a gorgeous joint of sticky-coated Honey-Glazed Ham. You’ll absolutely love slicing into this one, especially if it’s served with a medley of your favourite colourful, roasted vegetables.

We’ve not just glazed our gammon in a dreamy combination of honey and mustard – you’ll also sprinkle in a hint of aromatic Chinese 5 Spice to take things up a notch. Hot or cold, every slice is full of succulent flavour.

Bear in mind that you may need to soak your gammon joint before cooking to remove excess salt. Most supermarket gammons don’t need soaking as they’re usually mildly cured. You can always check the packet instructions to see how the gammon was cured, or ask when you’re buying from your local butcher.

Pop it at the centre of the table carved and ready for a traditional roast with vegetables and gravy, or (our personal favourite) enjoy it with cheesy Loaded Potato SkinsYou can even get creative with leftovers you stash in the fridge or freezer. If you’d rather leave your ham to cook for a few hours while you go about your day, our slow cooker method is here.

Recipe notes

Tip: You can strain the vegetables from the cooking liquid and use it as a tasty stock for future use. Cool quickly and freeze in portions or keep in the fridge and use within a couple of days.
Tip: You may be wondering about the difference between a gammon and a ham. Gammon is uncooked and, once cooked, it’s a ham!
