Made with real mashed potatoes, these cute smiley faces might be a classic kids’ tea, but they’ve been given a grown-up twist thanks to some delicious salt and pepper seasoning.
Onions, red peppers and green peppers are mixed into the fun potato shapes, and they come with a packet of salt and pepper seasoning to sprinkle on five minutes before they’re done cooking.
Love the kick of heat you get from salt and pepper seasoning? Our Salt and Pepper Pork is a tasty midweek dinner that you can have on the table in just 20 minutes!

While we’re on the subject of classic kids’ teas, how about some grown-up chicken nuggets to go with those smiley faces? Best known for their low calorie chicken sausages, Heck are back with these Posh Piri Piri Chicken Nuggets.
Flavoured with a spicy piri piri seasoning and coated with gluten free breadcrumbs, these are high in protein and come in at just 200 calories for four of them. Each nugget is a generous size too – more like a goujon than your traditional nugg!
Pop them in the oven or air fryer for a quick, easy lunch or dinner. We think they’d be delicious served alongside our crispy Sweet Potato Fries. Simple, yet so tasty!
Heck Posh Piri Piri Chicken Nuggets are available from Asda, priced at £3.89 for a pack of 10 nuggets.

Saxa Sea Salt Spray – 0 calories
Branded as a healthier way to season your food, this Saxa Sea Salt Spray is ideal for anyone concerned about their salt intake. Inside is a salt solution that can be misted over your food during cooking or before eating, giving you greater control over how much sodium goes into your meals.
A spritz of this solution spreads evenly across your ingredients so it’s possible to get plenty of flavour with far less salt. Five sprays gives a similar amount of seasoning to one pinch of salt, with just 1% of your daily salt intake per spray.
Try using it to season these Roast Potatoes before roasting them in the oven until they’re golden brown and irresistibly crunchy. Yum!
Saxa Sea Salt Spray is available from Waitrose, priced at £2.00.

Season them well and cook over a high heat to seal in all those flavours and juices. This is a lean cut, but it’s always a good idea to cut off any visible fat if you’re watching what you eat. At 175 calories per steak, these are super slimming friendly.
Slice these steaks into thin strips to make this Stir-Fried Beef with Ginger and Spring Onion. It’s so packed with flavour and tastes every bit as good as the takeaway (but it’s just 309 calories per serving!).

The beauty of these Bird’s Custard Pods is that you can make your custard at home and use any milk you like! This means if you’re dairy free or vegan you can still enjoy rich, creamy custard with your puds – simply use soy milk, almond milk or any other non dairy milk that takes your fancy.
Each pod gives you an individual serving of custard that you can make EXACTLY as you like it – add more or less milk to get the perfect consistency, and sweeten to suit your taste. All you need to do is add your milk and you’ll have silky smooth custard with no lumps every time. The calories per serving will vary depending on your milk of choice, so bear this in mind when you’re choosing.
