If you love the convenience of shop-bought, ready-made breakfast food, you’ll love that your family favourites have been given a low-sugar makeover. These Kingsmill 30% Reduced Sugar Pancakes bring the familiar flavour, without all the sugar.
Whether you’re warming one up for breakfast or popping a couple into a lunchbox for later, these are a lifesaver when time isn’t on your side. Stick one in the toaster until it’s golden brown and then top it off with plenty of fruit and a drizzle of yoghurt.
It only takes 15 minutes to make our Oat Pancakes from scratch. With just 5 ingredients, you’ll know exactly what’s gone into them, and you can get as creative as you like with your toppings!

Worldwide Heat & Eat Tomato & Olive Pasta – 204 calories
Sometimes you just need a lunch that tastes good and is ready to eat in no time. Thanks to the handy Heat & Eat pouches from Aldi, your midweek lunches are sorted! We spotted that this Worldwide Heat & Eat Tomato & Olive Pasta is only 204 calories for the whole pack – and it cooks in just 1 minute!
So easy to take out and about, the microwavable pouch is filled with penne pasta in a rich tomato and olive sauce. Keep an eye out for the Pesto flavour in the same range – these come in at 300 calories per pack.
If pasta is your idea of a dream lunch, you’re not alone! We love adding a handful of pasta to bulk up a classic salad – that’s how we came up with this Greek Pasta Salad. It’s fresh and filling all at once.

Galaxy Triple Treat Fruit Nut & Chocolate Bar – 137 calories per bar
What if we told you that you could enjoy your favourite chocolate bar with a healthier twist? If that sounds good, you might want to grab your shopping bags and pop to Tesco. We spied these new Triple Treat Fruit Nut & Chocolate Bars on the shelves this week, and they come in Galaxy, Snickers, Mars and Bounty varieties.
Made from 75% fruit and nuts, they’re a slimming-friendly treat that you can reach for anytime you need a chocolatey snack. The Galaxy version sounds especially delicious; it’s made from dates, raisins and peanuts dipped and drizzled in chocolate (and all for just 137 calories!).
Why not make a whole batch of your own nutty, crunchy chocolate treats? You can’t go wrong with these Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars. They’re only 130 calories each and our recipe will make 16, so you can seal them up in an airtight container and have something sweet to nibble on all week.

Peperami Roasted Chicken Bites – 86 calories per bag
When you’re on a slimming journey it’s always a good idea to stock the fridge with easy-to-grab, low-calorie snacks. When you start to get peckish, you’re less likely to reach for a big bag of crisps if you’ve got these Peperami Roasted Chicken Bites close at hand.
Packed with protein and coated in a moreish, savoury seasoning, they’ll fill you up and tide you over until dinnertime. Each bag of roasted chicken pieces contains just 86 calories. Pop them into a cool bag and take them on a picnic, to the park or the seaside!

If it’s too warm for your usual hot cuppa, why not get your caffeine fix from this Harry Brompton’s London Ice Tea, Brewed Black Tea with Peach? Made from the finest Kenyan tea and juice from ripe Italian peaches, this is just what you need to refresh you in the sunshine.
Full of antioxidants and natural flavour, these cans of iced tea can be kept in the fridge and cracked open whenever you need a cooling pick-me-up. There’s nothing better to sip in the sunshine!

Calling anyone who’s trying to eat less meat! We’ve spotted a freezer-friendly must-try at Ocado this week. These Goodlife Vegetable Paella Slices are a Spanish-inspired veggie-friendly meal idea that’s perfect for summer dinners.
They’re low in calories, packed full of vegetables and cook from frozen in less than 30 minutes – what more could you want? Serve with a crisp side salad or plenty of fresh green veggies for a quick, easy midweek meal that won’t disappoint.
Speaking of delicious vegetarian dishes, you won’t want to miss our Roasted Vegetable and Pesto Tart. It may look impressive but it’s really easy to make and it tastes incredible! We can’t get enough of this herby homemade pesto.

ASDA Cheesy Mini Cod Fishcakes – 285 calories per 1/2 pack
These Cheesy Mini Cod Fishcakes from Asda prove that a quick dinner can also be super tasty! We’re talking flaky cod mixed with Cheddar and mozzarella cheese, all wrapped up in golden, crunchy breadcrumbs.
They need just 12 minutes in the oven and then you can plate them up with anything you’d like! Keep it simple with Homemade Oven Chips and some garden peas – you can’t beat it!
If it swims, it slims; we love including a couple of fish dinners in our weekly meal plan. This Baked Cod Provencal is up there with our favourite recipes – just look at that rainbow of roasted vegetables!

Fox’s Party Rings Chocolate Mini – 92 calories per bag
Time to get the party started! Everyone’s favourite ring-shaped biscuits are now available in a yummy chocolate version. These bags of Mini Fox’s Party Rings are filled with crunchy little iced chocolate biscuits that are 100% irresistible.
At 92 calories per bag, these are just what you need when you fancy a chocolatey sweet treat. There’s no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, so you can share them with the whole family and know that there’s no hidden nasties.

With all this sunshine we wouldn’t blame you if it’s BBQ time every night at your house! If you’re looking for something a little bit different to throw on the barbecue, we’ve found these Summer Edition Tandoori Vegbabs in Sainsbury’s this week.
They’re made from chickpeas, brown rice, onions, carrots and peas, all seasoned with tandoori spices for a mild, smoky flavour that’s brilliant for the BBQ. You can also cook these in a pan or on the grill, so you can still give them a try if you don’t fancy eating outside.
If you prefer some meat on your skewers, you can’t go wrong with our classic Chicken Tikka Kebabs. At 206 calories per serving, they’re a slimming-friendly summer staple!
