We use baking trays alllll the time, so it’s well worth getting a good quality one. You can use it to make these Syn Free Slimming World Chips which would be the perfect match for the Fish Fingers!

There are 165 calories per portion of these Fish Fingers and they’re proper chunky and substantial!
You can make them with any fish you like, just check the calorific value if you used something different.

Shop bought fish fingers are 2 Smart Points each, but our version are 2 Smart Points per portion – that works out as a whole stack of Fish Fingers for the same amount of points!
You can serve these with whatever accompaniment you fancy. Just make sure you count the points for whatever you use.
Can I freeze these Fish Fingers?
This recipe can be frozen, but please remember to do the following;
– Freeze it as soon as it is cold enough
– Use a container or bag that is suitable for freezing.
– Defrost thoroughly before reheating.
Make sure it’s piping hot before serving!
How do I make this Fish Fingers recipe?
Preheat the oven to 170°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Put the breadcrumbs into a bowl with the season all. Seasoning with salt and pepper. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
Cut the fish into 2cm wide strips, depending on the length of the fish fillets you have, you may want to cut them in half so that they are around 10cm long.
Dip each piece of fish in the egg, and then into the bread crumbs. Place onto the baking tray. Spray each fish finger with low calorie cooking spray and pop in the oven to cook for 25 minutes until golden.
Serve immediately with your choice of accompaniment!
