Hi. Is there anything I can use to replace the butternut squash as I’m highly allergic but it sounds so delicious 🥹
HollyMonday 6th June 2022
Hey Rosie, you could swap the butternut squash for sweet potato hope that helps!
TpenstonFriday 7th January 2022
Is it really 2 tablespoons of curry powder . Made as this and totally inedible. To strong a curry
HollyMonday 10th January 2022
Hey Tpenston, that is correct the recipe uses 1 tbsp curry powder and 1 tbsp madras curry powder. If this is not quite to your taste you could reduce the amount used to better suit your preference. Hope that helps!
BrigSunday 14th March 2021
Do you use Mild Madras powder or hot madras powder (until now I didn’t know there were 2 different strengths!)
HollyMonday 15th March 2021
Hey Brig, it’s up to you which strength of the madras curry powder you use as you can suit it to your taste, hope that helps!

Is it best to brown the sausages before putting in the curry?
KatieMonday 16th November 2020
Did you get a reply about browning the sausages beforehand?
Can anyone who’s made this recipe answer? Do you need to brown the sausages before putting in the curry sauce?
HollyThursday 19th November 2020
Hi Katie, you could lightly brown the sausages in a frying pan before adding them to the curry in step 6 but as they are sliced up they will cook once added to the pan as they are. Hope that helps!
