    1. Hi Emily
The fruit syrup is a natural product, but skinny syrups are synthetic and much ‘thinner’ in texture. You could have a go with it, but it may change the overall result and texture of the blondies.

    1. Hi Joanne
Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup is usually with the sugar alternatives in larger supermarkets. I’ve managed to find it in Sainsburys, but Waitrose, Ocado, Holland & Barrett and Amazon are all listed as stockists. 🙂

  1. Hi

I made these last week and although they tasted amazing all the choc chips sank to the bottom and it was quite flat, any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong?

    1. Hi Vikki
Make sure you’re using a tin with the right dimensions as otherwise the mixture won’t be as deep when it goes into the oven. 😊 It’s important to preheat the oven before cooking – it needs to be up to temperature or it won’t cook properly. You should also avoid opening the oven for as long as possible during cooking. We’ve made them several times to make sure the recipe worked before we wrote it up, and didn’t have a problem. Good luck for next time!
