These Santa New York Cheesecakes are really easy to make, and no one will ever believe that they are “diet” friendly!

We’ve used a mini electric chopper to blitz the biscuits into crumbs. You could just use a food processor, but the mini electric chopper is soooooo useful!

We use it to chop herbs, make bread crumbs and blitz together small amounts of liquid, like in these Low Syn Chicken Kievs!

We also use a silicone mini muffin mould to make these cheesecakes. It’s another really useful baking tool and we use it for other cakes and bakes like these Jaffa Cakes!

As you will probably know, Slimming World brought out some new recommendations regarding the syn value of granulated sweeteners. This means that:

Where there is 1 tbsp or more being used per serving they recommend you count 0.5 Syn per tbsp. If using smaller amounts, like a pinch or teaspoon, there’s no need to worry about Syns at all.

The recipe for these Santa New York Cheesecakes uses 5 tablespoons of sweetener and is divided into 24 portions. That’s a fraction of  a tablespoon per portion, so there’s no need to add any Syns on for the sweetener itself.

How Weight Watchers friendly is this Santa New York Cheesecake recipe?

If you’re looking for a low point dessert to share with the whole family, then these Santa New York Cheesecakes are just the ticket.
