These Ham and Mushroom Pizza Calzones are the perfect way to satisfy your pizza cravings without blowing your diet!
Gooey, cheesy, meaty goodness – all wrapped up in a crispy pastry-like case! What’s not to love?
We used the Weight Watchers White Wraps to make these. We’ve tried many lower calorie/higher fibre wraps (Fitzgeralds, BFree), and the Weight Watchers ones are by far the best!
They are the only wraps that we’ve found that crimp well, don’t split and actually stay stuck together!

How do you make this Ham and Mushroom Pizza Calzone?
For the full list of ingredients and comprehensive instructions, please see the recipe card at the end of this post.
Take a wrap and spread the passata over half (be careful not to get any too close to the edge).
Place all of the remaining ingredients (apart from the egg!) on one half of the wrap (again be careful not to get any too close to the edge).
Brush the exposed side of the wrap and all around the edges with beaten egg.
Fold the wrap in half and press down around the edge. Crimp the edges using the back of a fork, then place on a baking tray sprayed with low calorie cooking spray.
Brush the outside of the Calzone with beaten egg.
Bake at 200°C for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Can I freeze these Syn Free Ham and Mushroom Pizza Calzone?
We’ve not tried freezing them, but lots of people on our Facebook group have frozen our pasties, so there’s no reason why these Syn Free Ham and Mushroom Pizza Calzone wouldn’t freeze well either.
Just let them defrost, then pop them in the microwave to reheat. Or you could reheat them in the oven if you prefer, but be careful not to burn them.
