OK, any Spanish cuisine traditionalists, look away now! We don’t claim this recipe to be an accurate recreation of the original Spanish dish, but this version of Patatas Bravas is loosely based on the tapas-tastic delight, and is just as moreish.
It combines spiced potatoes with a tomato sauce and a few little extras, and it’s very tasty indeed. It can be served on its own or as a side, or with a selection of other Mediterranean inspired recipes in a tapas inspired mezze! It would make part of a great feast for a dinner party, especially if served in some pretty tapas style dishes.
