Here’s our rundown of this fortnight’s selection and some meal inspiration to give you some ideas on how to make the most of the Super 6!
Cherries – 50 calories per 100g
Juicy, plump cherries are great in desserts or kept in the fridge for a snack. They’re usually expensive, so make the most of these budget friendly fruits by serving on top of Bakewell Baked Oats.

This crunchy baby corn adds an extra bite to stir fries and salad. It’s particularly good in Chinese fakeaways like our Fakeaway Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce!
Avocado – 160 calories per 100g
Avocado is sometimes overlooked when following a slimming plan as it’s high in calories.
They are full of healthy fats and high in filling protein; try tossing through an Avocado, Asparagus, Soy Bean and Bacon Salad.
Mango – 60 calories per 100g
For a taste of the tropical at home, these juicy mangoes complement both sweet and savoury dishes, like Pork Carnitas with Pineapple and Mango Salsa.
Oranges – 47 calories per 100g
Not only do oranges add a burst of colour and citrus flavour to your fruit bowl, but you can also add them to soups! Try them blitzed in our Carrot, Orange and Thyme Soup:
Mini apples – 53 calories per 100g
Deliciously sweet mini apples that make a tasty Apple Strudel! Try them sliced in a salad for added texture and sweetness, too.
