These Chocolate Waffles taste super indulgent and are the perfect treat to satisfy your chocolate cravings. We love them topped with sweetened, flavoured quark and piles of fresh fruit!
Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, these Chocolate Waffles will simply melt in your mouth and also make a fantastic dessert.
These Chocolate Waffles use porridge oats that have been blitzed in a processor and are super easy to make – they’ll be ready in a jiffy!

You can use a waffle maker for these Chocolate Waffles if you have one, but we just used one of these heart shaped waffle moulds from Amazon UK.
If you want the waffles a bit crispier, then just tip them out of the mould onto a baking tray for the last 5 minutes or so.
Like them a bit more chocolatey? Then just add some extra cocoa powder, or a teaspoon of Chocolate Extract.
Finally, we need to mention cocoa powder. The nutritional values of cocoa powder do vary so you should check whichever brand you use.

How do you know when these Chocolate Waffles are cooked?
You should bake these Chocolate Waffles for 25 – 30 minutes or until they’re firm to the touch. Then, turn out onto a baking tray and cook for a further 4 or 5 minutes to get that gorgeous, crispy outside.
