The ingredients for Pinch of Nom's low-calorie Spicy Slow Cooked Pork are laid out on a counter top. There is diced pork, onion, red chillies, herbs, spices, Henderson's relish, stock.

You’ll find bags of flavour in this gorgeous Spicy Pork Stew. We’ve used a nifty blend of super simple store cupboard staples to whip up a sauce that’s so delicious, it tastes just as good as restaurant versions.

A fragrant, aromatic stew, we’ve turned up the heat by stirring in fresh chopped chillies and dried chilli flakes. The warm flavours make this one absolutely perfect to serve on a chillier night, over a fluffy bed of basmati rice or creamy mashed potatoes – to soak up every last drop!

Once everything is combined in your casserole dish, leave it to bubble away until your pork is fall-off-the-fork tender, and your kitchen is filled with amazing smells. We like it best served with coriander sprinkled on top, to really enhance the flavours – but you can skip it, if you’re not a fan.

You can make this dish in an Instant Pot or your slow cooker, if you’d prefer.

What diets is this Spicy Pork Stew suitable for?

Spicy Pork Stew can be enjoyed on gluten-free diets, as long as you use gluten-free stock cubes and Henderson’s relish (instead of Worcestershire sauce).

Wow I made this in the slow cooker yesterday it was delicious. We love spicy things so I added more chillies and made it a little bit too spicy lol
I will be definitely doing this again, being careful of the chillies.
Another midweek marvel from the PON team, inspired
