The Most Popular Pinch of Nom Recipes of 2024
What a fabulous year it’s been at PON HQ! We’ve been cooking up a slimming-friendly storm with lots of fresh recipes on our website, and we’ve even added two brand-new cookbooks to our collection.
Plus, we launched the first-ever issue of Pinch of Nom Magazine, made our way into Tesco’s herbs and spices aisle with our mouthwatering PON x Flava It! recipe mixes, and topped it all off with the release of the official Pinch of Nom 2025 Calendar. What a whirlwind!
If you haven’t snapped up your calendar yet, don’t worry – you can grab one for January by tapping the image below.
We can’t wait to share more delicious surprises with you in 2025, and we’re beyond grateful for your support! Now, let’s take a look back at some of the recipes you’ve been loving this year…

Air Fryer Cinnamon Breakfast Buns
If you picked up a copy of our new Air Fryer cookbook, chances are you’ve turned to the Cinnamon Breakfast Buns on page 48. The perfect, cosy companion to a frothy morning coffee, we’re so pleased these sticky-sweet treats have been a huge hit with our community.
Keep the photos of your golden, glaze-topped batches coming! You can either share them in our Facebook group, or upload them to the Gallery on our website.
Thank you again to Vicky Galvin for sending us this gorgeous photo.

Bolognese and Garlic Swirl Pie
This indulgent tasting Italian-style pie comes with a surprising topping: crunchy and herby garlic ‘butter’ filled puff pastry swirls. Paired with our rich and tomatoey filling, it’s like tucking into bolognese with garlic bread…just even more irresistibly crunchy!
Since we pressed ‘publish’ on this Bolognese and Garlic Swirl Pie recipe, we’ve loved seeing your creations. Just last week, we ran out to grab the ingredients because Karen Gibson’s photo gave us a serious craving!
“Everyone loved this! You don’t need a side dish as it’s deceptively filling.” – thank you for sharing, Karen.
Spicy Coconut and Lime Chicken Curry
Don’t let the simplicity of this Spicy Coconut and Lime Chicken Curry fool you – it’s an explosion of flavours that’s sure to tingle your taste buds. We’ve made things lighter with one of our favourite hacks: swapping tinned coconut milk for a coconut plant-based drink.
Packed with Madras curry powder and a dash of chilli, you’ll never regret adding this one to your fakeaway menu.
Somerset Pork
The traditional version of Somerset Pork takes its name from orchard farming, where workers would settle down and eat a hearty meal after a long day of harvesting apples. A scrummy blend of cheesy goodness and fruity cider, it’s not hard to understand why our community has had this one-pot wonder on repeat!
Baked Feta Vegetable and Couscous Traybake
We’re so proud of our latest cookbook, Pinch of Nom: All in One! It’s filled with 100 utterly delicious dishes that you can cook without a fuss in one pot, pan, tray or your slow cooker, including this Baked Feta Vegetable and Couscous Traybake.

Crumbled, reduced-fat feta cheese brings a creamy saltiness to balance the flavours, with fragrant thyme to top it all off. The best bit about this dish? It tastes incredible hot or cold – so you’ll want to make sure you save the leftovers for lunch the next day.

Flava It! Creamy Garlic Chicken
No one will be surprised to see the garlicky, rich flavours of one of your all-time favourite recipes on this list! We’ve made our super-popular Creamy Garlic Chicken easier and more fuss-free than ever with our Flava It! X Pinch of Nom recipe mix.
Our brand-new range of Flava It! x Pinch of Nom recipe mixes bring you all of the flavour, with even less fuss! You’ll find Creamy Garlic Chicken, Campfire Stew and Mediterranean-Style Traybake ready-mixes sold individually in the herbs and spices aisle at Tesco.
Or pick up our collection boxes on Amazon – you can choose between four Fan-Favourite sachets here, or learn about the Fakeaway-Favourites collection here.
Crispy Duck
There’s no better start to a Chinese-inspired fakeaway night than Crispy Duck pancakes! Far quicker and easier to make than you’d think, we’ve kept our version simple yet full of flavour.
After just half an hour in the oven, your duck will be fall-off-the-fork shreddable and ready to roll into takeaway-style pancakes with a splash of hoisin sauce.
Accordion Potatoes
You can thank a TikTok trend for these crispy, golden Accordion Potatoes! We’ve managed to get ours nice and crunchy without frying them in loads of oil. It can take a bit of practice to get the accordion-style cuts just right, but it’s easy once you know how.
Mulled Wine Beef Stew
Flavoured with Christmassy spices, the aromas of cinnamon, cloves and star anise, this Mulled Wine Beef Stew will get the whole family into the festive spirit – and it’s a cracking warmer year-round!
When the beef is melt-in-the-mouth tender, serve your hearty stew on a bed of mashed potatoes. Or, if you’d rather leave it bubbling away for a few hours, you can follow our slow cooker recipe here.
Hummus Soup
Our community loves a soup you can take on the go, so it’s no wonder our Hummus Soup has proved really popular over the past 12 months.
Brimming with lemony, garlicky goodness, you’ll blitz the ingredients until silky-smooth, and then top it all off with a surprising ingredient that’s far tastier than bread croutons…
A flourish of crispy, spicy oven-baked chickpeas!
