The Half Syn Watermelon, Feta and Mint Bites are light, refreshing, full of speed and they work out at only half a syn each. We like to make them on a Saturday to eat whilst watching Strictly.
The kids will also like them, and they’re pretty healthy. One word of note, always chill the watermelon before you cut it. Otherwise, it may be a little difficult to get into cube and go a bit mushy. Nobody likes mushy melon.
We thought we’d keep it simple and just syn it rather than use up your HEA. But you decide whether you want to syn it or use a Healthy Extra.
After all, these decisions are up to you. If you’re going to be eating them in a situation where alcohol is concerned, then you really want to keep it as simple as possible.
