By adding just a little sugar free Elderflower syrup, you’ll add loads of flavour to these popsicles as they need a little extra sweetness.

Frozen desserts and lollies need to be highly flavoured as they lose some flavour intensity when frozen. So don’t be put off by these tasting super strong before you freeze them!

How do I make these Low Syn Elderflower, Gin and Tonic Popsicles?

Step 1

Mix all the liquids in a jug. Fill 4 popsicle mounds until they are 3/4 full. It is important not to overfill them as they will expand in volume when frozen.

Step 2

Freeze for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight. Enjoy straight from the freezer!

This recipe can be frozen, but please remember to do the following;

- Freeze it as soon as it is cold enough.
- Use a container or bag that is suitable for freezing.
- Defrost thoroughly before reheating (you can use the defrost setting on your microwave.)
- Make sure it is piping hot all the way through before serving.

If making this recipe Gluten Free please make sure to check the ingredients that you’re using

Especially things such as; 

- Stock cubes
- Soy sauce - substitute with Tamari.
- Worcestershire sauce - substitute with Henderson’s Relish.
- Etc.
