It’s surprising how bad this meal feels, because it is oh so tasty, but not that bad for you at all!
What can I serve Low Syn Garlic & Chilli Pasta with?
We’ve got loads of salads that would be a brilliant serving suggestion!
Our Syn Free Greek Salad would be a perfect salad to serve alongside this pasta dish, just remember to Syn the cheese.
Another great side dish, and an excellent way of using your Healthy Extras, is our Syn Free Cheesy Garlic Bread. Always good with pasta!

What if I don’t want to use cheese as my Healthy Extra?
If you prefer not to use part of your HEA it’s 6 syns for 45g of Feta, split between the 2 portions, so that’s 3 syns each. You could of course use reduced fat Greek Style Salad Cheese, which is 65g for your HEA.

How to make our Low Syn Chilli & Garlic Pasta
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the pack
Meanwhile, put the tomatoes in a oven tray, season and cook in the oven until they are roasted nicely
Fry the onion with chilli and garlic until soft
Add the cooked pasta and roasted tomatoes
Stir in half the crumbled feta
Serve sprinkled with the remaining feta, the olives and basil leaves
